Aim:

To develop a waste collection system tailored to the resource poor communities

To design a color coding system to make the waste collection system user friendly for populations with low educational background

The project is designed in three phases.

PHASE 1: EXPLORATORY

The exploratory phase will collect data for design of model systems.

PHASE II: DEVELOPMENT

Waste collection systems amenable to resource poor communities will developed using models designed at phase 1.

PHASE III: IMPLEMENTATION

The waste collection systems -made in the Biotech tropicana Systems- will be implemented in eligible resource poor communities.
